Why won't my blades disengage?
I removed/reassmbled the front pulley/belt on my rider. now blades won't disengage. craftsman 15.5hp rider about 12 yrs old. 42" deck. It works properly if i remove the deck. I was doing engine work and had to remove the pulley. did I put something back incorrectly?

It sounds like you have gotten the belt on wrong when you put it back. You forgot to include the model number of your machine (under the seat) so I am not exactly sure which model you have.

If the tractor has an electric pto clutch, the clutch is stuck and that's the problem. If it does not, I would just think that the belt was put back on incorrectly.
