I assume you are talking about the homelink system on your car. First locate the learn button on your motor unit. It will be on the back(single light) or side(double light) of your motor. 1- Press and hold the two outside of the three buttons on the homelink, it will flash and when it flashes rapidly let go. This erases the test program from the factory.

2- Take one remote inside the vehicle press and hold the button that operates the door and the homelink button you want to operate the door together until the led light on the homelink flashes rapidly. Your car has learned the frequency of your opener.

3- Now press the learn button on your motor unit, then go back to your car and press and release the same button on the homelink that you pressed before three times firmly. Your opener should operate on the third or fourth push. Note most of the time homelink does not have as good of a range sometimes as a regular remote, but usually you can't tell.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
