My garage door opener learn light blinks continuously what is the cause?
craftsman 1/3 Hp opener with green learn button. 16 years old?

It really could be several things causing that issue. You forgot to include you model number from the unit, so I am unable to see any "flash" codes for your unit. If nothing else is working and it's flashing I would think the board has failed.
If everything is working fine and it's flashing I would think it's getting a signal from something. If you have a key less entry keypad device, take the batteries out of that and see if you still have the flashing. I see problems with those from time to time.If nothing else, as old as the machine is, it might wouldn't be a bad time to consider getting a new one.Join this conversation.
