Clover is an extremely common lawn weed. Just use a broadleaf herbicide for lawns in the fall to take care of it over time. A broadleaf herbicide will control clover as well as a host of other broadleaf weeds, including dandelions.
Keep in mind that clover once was routinely added to grass mixes decades ago. That's because it pulls nitrogen out of the air and "fixes" it into the soil for grass to feed off of. Organic lawn programs often recommend encouraging some clover in your lawn.Join this conversation.
