where do i get a external antenna for my garage door opener
the expert told me to try an external antenna but i looked in my local sears and couldn't find any. it would be for a 1/2 horsepower opener. i am skeptical about buying a new opener because what if the same thing happens.

First of all you can get an external receiver at sears.com, click on "need help finding something" at the bottom and then choose the "chat" option and someone will help you. You will need the model number.
You can also purchase a new garage door opener(gdo). You don't have to worry about the problem again as long as your old gdo does not have the ((( ))) icon on them. Your new gdo will operate on a new frequency so the problem won't occur. You can visit your local Sears or Sears.com.Join this conversation.
