Why won't the pull cord on my tiller work?
Read manual. When holding tine switch down the cord does not pull. When not holding tine switch down the cord does not pull. New Front Tine Tiller 900 Series - ran 5 minutes. Can not pull start cord.

We will need the tiller model number to be able to tell exactly which machine you have. There should be a sticker with the model/serial numbers on it. Usually that sticker is on the side of the frame (right side).
In the meantime, try taking the spark plug out and see if it will spin when you pull then. If not, I suspect something else may be going on that will require a technician to have a look at it.Join this conversation.
