Will Craftsmn remote keypad mod# 139.53684 work w/ 8 pos dipswtch MooreOMatic gar dr opnr?How reset?
It is the remote keypad for outside the gar door, so how do you reset it to work with this garage door opener that is an 8 position dipswitch model. Not a newer rolling code or anything, so just trying to see if these are compatible? The Craftman remote is model 139.53684 and the Moore-O-Matic is 1/3 hp, no model # available, but 8 pos. dipswitch. Thanks much!

Actually even though the two units have the same amount of dip switches doesn't mean that they operate on the same frequency. Moore-o-matic was manufactured by linear corp. and craftsman was manufactured by the chamberlain group. They should not be compatible. Chamberlain does make a universal keyless entry that can be purchased and goes by the brand "clicker".
