How do I adjust an older craftsman mower deck?
The Model no. of the tractor is 917.254320.

The model you have only has the rear deck adjustments that can be made. On either side of the mower there will be a suspension arm that connects to the deck. The arms will have a jam-nut of one form or fashion. That is where you make your level adjustments.
