I have a Kenmore model w10041180 dishwasher that always leaves a small pool of water in the tub.
The w10041180 is not a model number but a serial number so I can't bring up the specific dishwasher you have.
A poor drain can be caused by a stripped drain impeller and a clog in the drain line. There are some things you can check without a model number. Check for suds in the wash. Water that has excessive suds will not drain properly. You can disconnect the drain hose from the disposal or standpipe and run a drain into a small bucket to check how well it is draining. If the drain goes through an air gap it may be restricted there. Some of the filters in the sump may be clogged and if you submit another question with a model number I can give you the instructions for getting into the pump assembly to check the filter screens and drain impellers.Submit another question with a model number for further assistance with this problem.Member
