How do I remove the starter from my lawnmower?

There is one screw that holds the plastic vent over the starter. Remove that screw and the plastic vent piece. The screws that hold the starter on are on the sides of the starter. There are usually 3 screws spaced out around it. Remove those screws and the starter will lift off. Install new one in reverse order.
