How do I remove the plastic cover to replace the pull cord on my line trimmer?
358.795560 Craftsman line trimmer. I can't remove the plastic cover to replace the pull cord. The washer and drive coupling is blocking the plastic cover from being removed. These parts have be taken off and I cant find the trick to doing it.

It may require a puller to remove the drive coupling. From the photos we're provided, it's very hard to determine if it's pressed on or if it's threaded on. I cannot see any type of threads that would hold the drive coupling on so I would assume that it's pressed on.
I would try to use a puller to remove it. If that doesn't work, you might carry it in and have it repaired.Join this conversation.
