Why does only one Craftsman 139.53681B remote work at a time?
I have two garage remotes. Here is the problem, I have had the garage door opener & both remotes for 10 years. Remote 2 quit working. Remote 1 will install but remote 2 will not install. If you install remote 2 first it works but the other does not. The opener is a 139.53673SRT3.

If you have not changed the batteries in the remotes recently, I recommend changing the batteries and seeing if the remotes will program properly. If you have the same problem then one of the remotes is bad. I recommend purchasing a new remote and then program the new remote. Try programming each of the old remotes along with the new one. The old remote that will program along with the brand new remote is the good one. This should resolve your problem.
