Why won't my garage door opener model 13953989 accept my 2009 Altima homelink remote?

I currently have 1 auto homelink, 2 remotes and 1 keyless entry, but it won't accept the signal from the newest car. Do you have any ideas how to resolve this problem? Is there a maximum on remotes? The manual doesn't say that there is a limit on them, but I don't know why it won't work even though the car shows it was accepted.

Generally speaking, if all of the home remotes are working and the car remote is not working, then the car remote is not compatible with the garage door opener motor unit. Try programming the car remote using the LEARN button on the motor unit of the garage door opener. In case you need it, here is a link for the owner's manual for your unit: Owner's Manual

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
