How do you recode a garage door keypad?

On most garage door opener systems, you will need to use the LEARN button on the motor unit of the garage door opener to program the new code in the keypad. The image below shows the programming instructions for a common Craftsman garage door opener. You may be able to use these instructions to recode your garage door keypad.
