I have a really muddy driveway what should I use to dry it up or make it rock hard? Rocks/ concrete?

Should we use a grated base which is 3/4" crushed rock with mixed stone dust or should we just put big rocks down? I heard something abouta some filter fabric too? What do you recommend?

Unfortunately driveway design is outside the scope of our experts. We recommend you consult with a local construction contractor. These links may be of some help:

The material you need is called "crush and run" which is identical to the "grated base" you mentioned. Call your local gravel provider and they should be able to help. Crush and Run packs very quickly to a very hard base that allows significant drainage. Hope this helps.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
