I have a model 13953970SRT garage opener. I just installed new sensors. Why is one of them not lighting up?

My Craftsman garage opener stopped closing. I would have to hold down the button. So I ordered new sensors and just installed them. The right sensor light is not coming on?

I suspect you have a broken or pinched wire from the logic board to the sensors.

Be sure the sensor wires are connected correctly. The 2 white wires should go to terminal 2 with the white wire to the wall control. The 2 white with a black tracer wires should go to terminal 3 on the logic board. If you mix the white wires with a tracer with the white wires, one sensor won't light up.

Check any staples in the sensor wires for tightness on the wires. If the wires are pinched, the sensors won't light.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
