How do I figure out if I need new screendoors on my porch, or if I just need to re-hang them?
Doors do not close properly. Do not seem to fit opening. Hanging at an angle.

It sounds like the doors have sagged a bit and aren't "square" anymore, or perhaps the hinges are loose or bent. Take a look at the hinges, perhaps you can replace the screws or tighten them up.
Use a carpenter's square to check if the corners of the door are square. If the door isn't square, you could remove it, then clamp it back into a square position. It could then be reinforced at the corners to hold it square. If you don't want to attempt repairing the doors then buying new ones is certainly a good option to consider.Join this conversation.
