My garage door opener remote was stolen. Can I reprogram my opener to not accept the missing one?
It is a Craftsman 1/2 hp.

Without a model number I have to guess at which garage door opener you have. I am sending you instructions that fit most Craftsman garage door openers. If this answer doesn't fit your garage door opener, send another email and include the model number of your garage door opener. We will be glad to send you the correct information.
If you erase the codes from the memory of the logic board on the garage door opener by holding the learn button on the motor unit of the opener in until the led goes off, the stolen remote won't open the door. You will need to program all other remotes to the opener to get them to work. I am sending you an image with instructions to program remotes for most Craftsman garage door openers.
