My garage door opener won't let the door always stay down. It has 1 green eye, and 1 orange eye.

I have gotten 4 numbers from the back of the unit. I'm trying to get an on line manual. It says all the numbers are wrong. The numbers I have are: 41A5150-2, 1021499A, 1C2666A, and 132C2256-2. The door doesn't always stay down. Sometimes it will go down and immediately go back up. The next time it will stay down. One of the sensor lights is green and other one is orange. My intention was to find an on-line manual, but I can't do it because of the model number.

You might have to remove the light cover to find the model number of the garage door opener. The model number will be in the following format, 139.53656 srt.

It sounds like the down travel is out of adjustment in your opener. I am sending you an image with instructions for adjusting the up and down travel for most garage door openers.

If the down or up travel is intermittent after you adjust the down travel, look at the travel limit switch. Something might be loose or broken on it.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
