Why does my garage door opener, model 139.53977SRT, keep blinking 5 times?
The door opener will not operate by either the remote or the Premium control panel. When either is pushed, all that happens is the light comes on and then goes off after 4 minutes. The learn indicator light keeps blinking 5 times, stops for a few seconds and then blinks 5 times again over and over and over. There is nothing in the user manual that explains what is happening.

Why can't this information be put in the User Manual? Helpful information like what blinking lights mean should be included in all user manuals. This would have helped me oreder my replacement part sooner rather than having to wait a few days to get an answer.
