The keypad to my Craftsman garage door opener doesn't work. The battery is OK. What is wrong?

Please send another email and include the model number of the garage door opener and some details. Some information such as is the keyless entry new? Did this keyless ever work with with your garage door opener? Do you have or know the instructions to program the keyless?

The more information you give us, the more in depth we can make our answer.

If the keyless used to work with the opener and stopped and you know how to reprogram it to the opener, you might just need to erase the codes from the garaged door opener logic board. Do this by holding the learn button in until the led on the logic board goes off.

The memory of the logic board will store 4-6 codes. If the memory gets full, the logic board won't accept any more codes.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
