I have a Craftsman garage door model 139.53674srt2. Sears matched me up with a keyless entry pad, but I can't program it. The directions say there should be a "learn" button on the actual garage opening unit--I can't find it and the back of the unit is bolted flush against a support beam. There's no access to the back panel unless the entire unit is disassembled and taken down (yikes). Is there any other way I can program my pad?
If you have a premium wall control with a light and lock button you can program the keyless and the remotes with the wall control.
It would be worth buying a premium wall control to keep from taking the garage door opener down. The negative side is when the logic board in the opener reaches its memory capacity, 4-6 codes, you can't erase the codes to reprogram another remote without holding in the learn button until the led goes off.I am sending you 2 images that show you how to program the remote and the keyless entry with the premium wall control.Member
