I recently purchased a home with a garage door opener all ready installed. The previous owners left the car openers, but never left the code for the keypad on the side of the garage. I do not have the model on hand, but I can get it if that is necessary. Is there a simple way to reset the code?
You can send another email with the model number of the garage door opener, or get the model number and download an owners manual which will have the information you need.
The model number is on a tag on the motor unit of the opener. You might have to remove the light shield to read the model number. You can download or print an owners manual for the garage door opener at [www.managemylife.com]. You can also download an owners manual for your keyless entry. Get the model number off the keyless and you can get an owners manual at the same site. The model numbers for the garage door opener and the keyless entry will start with 139. Both will have 5-6 digits after the 139.Member
