The neighbor hood kids have found out the code to my Hard Wired Touch Code Transmitter Pad I mounted to my door three years ago. They have entered my home without permission. I can not find the instructions I used to set the code to my 1/2 HP Craftsman garage door opener model 139.53615SR. I down loaded the owners manual for that garage door opener and there are the instructions to change the radio control transmitter but not the hard wire touch pad transmitter part 53775. Please send me the instructions to reset to 4 digit PIN on the hard wired touch pad transmitter mounted to the outside of my garage,
I don't have any instructions to send you for programming the keyless entry.
You need to remove the front panels and shields on the wall control(receiver) for the keyless entry. Under the panels you will find a switch labeled (program - operate). Move the switch to program, enter a new 4 digit code, and move the switch to operate. If your hard wired keyless entry is the latest version, instead of the switch you will find a learn button and a small led. On this version you press and release the learn button. The led will come on, enter the new 4 digit code, when the led blinks the receiver has learned the new code. This will only take a few seconds. It is best to have someone watch the led for you.Member
