I forgot the password to my Craftsman Garage Door Opener touch pad. HELP!!!
It was purchased in 01-01 and came with a remote touch pad and controller. The battery is new, I just forgot the password to the touch pad which is tan with soft touch buttons. The main Opener (transmitter) is part 41A5021-2E. The remote control is dark grey with blue buttons. Katie

Before you program the keyless entry or remote you should erase the codes in the memory of the logic board by holding the learn button on the motor unit in until the led goes off. The memory of the logic board will store 4-6 codes. When it is full it won't accept any codes. You will have to program the keyless entry and the remotes after erasing the memory of the logic board. Any old codes will no longer work on the opener.
