Why will my remote control and my keyless entry not work together on my Craftsman model 139.53674SRT2 garage door opener?
If I program the keyless entry the remote control stops working. If I program the remote control, the keyless entry stops working.

Your garage door opener is a security+ rolling code opener. It will accept security+ or billion code remotes and keyless entries, but it won't accept both at the same time.
Either the keyless entry or the remote is probably the wrong one for your opener. Look on the back of the remote and keyless for the part numbers.The part number for the correct remote control for your opener is 53681. The compact remote is 53680. The part number for the keyless entry is 53686. If these part numbers are correct, one of them has failed. I would buy another remote and try to program it with the keyless entry. If both of them won't program, the keyless entry is defective.Join this conversation.
