I have a model 13953662srt2 garage door opener. I ordered a remote for my car model 953681. Why won't it work with my garage door opener?
They say it is correct but it won't work. Any help would be great!

The 53681 remote is the correct model for your garage door opener.
Be sure you put the battery in the remote correctly. Erase the codes from the logic board by holding the srt button in until the led goes off. The memory of the logic board holds 4-6 codes. If it is full, it won't accept another code. You will need to program all remotes and the keyless entry if you have one again. The new remote should work now. If it doesn't, get Parts Direct to send you another remote, the new one might be bad.I am sending you the instructions for programming the remotes in case you need it.
