Five flashes of the led means the logic board is not receiving information from the rpm sensor.
The rpm sensor is located beside the motor shaft. A black plastic cup with notches in the edge turns through a groove of the rpm sensor. If this plastic cup is not pushed firmly onto the motor shaft it doesn't go deep enough into the groove to break the infra red beam.If the cup is fully on the motor shaft, you need to replace the rpm sensor.Member
