I have a brand new Craftsman weedeater 2 cycle. It wont start. I primed it and pull, and pull and nothing. What is wrong?

It is a model number 316.791900.

Prime the trimmer again. Push the primer bulb in fully and briskly. Remove your finger from the primer bulb after each push. Place your finger or thumb in the center of the primer bulb when priming.

Pull the starter rope 4 times and if the trimmer doesn't try to start or start, prime it 10 more times and try pulling the rope another 4 times.

Don't pull the throttle trigger when starting. When the product is new it will be more difficult to start. You have to fill the carburetor with fuel by pulling the starter rope.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
