How do I erase the codes from the memory of my 139.53513 garage door opener? So my neighbor can't open the door. It has a newer logic boars.
The logic board was replaced in my 139.53513 and does not have the multiple switches. It has one button that is pressed, then the remote must be activated within 30 seconds so the receiver learns the new code. But ours still remembers the neighbors code and they open OUR garage door most every time they leave or come home. Other than that, the opener works great. We just don't want the neighbor opening our garage door.

Hold the learn button in on the rear of the logic board until the led goes off. This will erase the codes in the memory of the garage door opener.

If your remotes have the dip switches in them, change the position of 2-3 of the switches to pick a different code. Be sure all remote switches are positioned the same.
