My garage door reverses on the close cycle. I have replaced the light sensors.
It is a model 139.53675SRT2. The LED on the receive sensor flashes once then stays out when the light beam is reestablished after being interrupted.

Check the voltage to both door sensors. It should be 4-5 volts dc. Test it when the light flashes and when the led should be on. I suspect there is a problem with the wiring to the sensors.

If the voltage is good the new sensor might be bad.
