I am reprogramming the factory remote. Will the 2nd remote work without reprogramming?

You should be able to program a new remote and not effect the other remotes. If the memory of the logic board is full it won't let you program the new remote.
I recommend erasing all codes from the logic board memory by holding the learn button in until the led goes off before programming new remotes.Join this conversation.
