Why would a garage door open on its own without pushing any buttons?
I have a model 139.5399011 3/4 HP garage door opener with a motion control button part 139.53687 This morning the garage door opened without touching any button. I think the motion control was sticking. The button was pushed in, but I don't think it fully popped back up. Is there anything I can do to fix the button, like lubrication? Or do I need to replace the whole control button?

You need to replace the wall control. There are no mechanical buttons to lubricate. When you push the button it activates a pressure point on an electronic board.
