Is it possible to use rubber mounts for overhead garage doors to quiet them and stop some vibration?

I read or saw recently that an overhead garage door can be quieted by attaching the motor to the mount using some type of rubber mounts on the motor and also to the wall. My door is right beneath my bedroom with a Genie screw type. It wakes me and causes minor cracks in the bedroom.

Yes, there are a few different ways you can reduce the noise transfer to the garage ceiling (and the floor above). Either install an isolator between the drive and the hanging brackets, or install isolators right at the ceiling between the ceiling and the brackets. Check out these links:
