I am having trouble programming a remote control for model 139.653000 garage door opener. Can you help?
My BMW remote won't train to the model 139.653000 opener.

The electronics in your garage door opener are to early to be compatible with the transmitter in your vehicle. You can replace the garage door opener with a current model, or replace the receiver on the wall with an upgraded model.
Part number 53682 is a receiver with one remote control.Part number 53683 is a receiver with 2 remotes.These 2 kits are the latest technology rolling code and will accept the remotes in later model vehicles.If you decide to buy a new garage door opener, be aware the new ones can be 396 mhz or 315 mhz.
