I have a 2008 BMW 335 and a Craftsman garage door opener. I need to program the remote inside the 335 but when I tried to follow the instructions on the Craftsman and BMW Manual all remotes are now deprogrammed. I cannot get any to work now including my keyless entry pad. Help please!
Hold the learn button on the motor unit of the garage door opener down until the led goes off. This will erase all codes in the memory of the logic board. The memory will hold 4-5 codes and it is probably full.
Hold the button you want to use an any of your portable remotes down. Press and release the learn button on the opener. The opener light should blink when the code is learned. Try each remote after programming to be sure it works. For the remote inside your car, press and release the actuator button on the remote. Within 30 seconds press and release the learn button on the opener. The opener light should blink. For the keyless entry, press and release the learn button on the opener. Enter the 4 digit code you want and press and hold the enter button until the light on the opener blinks. If you have further questions about programming the remotes send another email and include the model number of the garage door opener. The model number is on the motor unit and begins with 139.i tried this technique and it did not help. homelink says they no longer offer customer support because of the age of my cars (2002 cadillac and 2002 chrysler). i followed the instructions from the owners manual without success. is there something wrong with the opener (model 139.53978srt)?
