The model number you sent is not a good model number for a Craftsman garage door opener. You can download an owners manual for your garage door opener that has complete programming instructions for the remote and keyless entry by going to [www.managemylife.com]. I am sending you an image for programming the remotes that works for most openers.

If your keyless entry has an enter key you press and release the programming button on back of the motor unit for the opener. Within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code and hold the enter key in until the light flashes on the opener.

If your keyless entry doesn't have an enter key, press and release the learn button on the motor unit and within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code into the keyless entry pad. Wait 1 minute and enter the same 4 digit code and the door should open or close.

Erase the codes from the opener before beginning the programming. Your garage door opener will store 4-6 codes and if it is full it won't accept any more codes.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
