How do I prevent my garage door from opening with some neighbor's opener?
I have a Craftsman garage door opener model 139.53910D. My door is being opened by someone else in the neighborhood who possibly has the same frequency or numbers in their remote opener. I need to change the programming so that this does not happen. Can you tell me how to do this?

First, you will need to erase all of the codes in your motor unit memory. I provided the instructions in the image below. After erasing all codes, use the steps to add or reprogram the remotes that you use to activate your garage door opener. This should fix your problem.
