The garage door remote opens the door but does not close it. One sensor does not have a light on.
It is a Craftsman by Sears. I just purchased a new remote and it opens the door but cannot close it.One of the sensors does not have the light on. Can I replace the sensor or disable it?

The sensors are a safety feature to keep the door from being closed on someone. The garage door opener will not allow you to bypass the sensors.
