mice in wood chips aroud house,trying to get in house.what can i put in wood chips to keep them out

You can try cayenne pepper. A better solution would be to minimize or eliminate the wood chips around the house.

Moth balls will repel mice and bugs, just place them every foot or so. You can put them in underground meter boxes and sprinkling system control boxes to keep them bug & critterfree.
