My does my garage door opener operate intermittently after the light has turned off?
I have pressed the buttons a number of times on my Craftsman garage door opener model 139.53640SRT. After the light times out and goes off, a number of attempts are needed to get it to operate again. I have checked the sensors, etc. Once the lights come on, the opener works properly from the remotes and the console. I can hear a click when I press the button and I have to repeat the process until I see the lights before it operates.
