This month in a high country desert garden, do the following: Plant spring bulbs
Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials, if you like, though it's usually better to wait
until spring
Reseed lawns. (Keep well watered!)
Plant cool-season garden crops, such as lettuces, spinach, radishes, broccoli,
and other fast-producing veggies.
Divide perennials that bloom in spring or early summer.
Keep plants well watered.
Tidy up the garden, deadhead, weed, and mulch as desired. You can mulch just about any time of year.
