I am insulating my attic space above my garage. Do I put batted faces up or down.
I am using batted faces of insulation in the attic space of my garage. Do I put the batted faces (the paper vapor barrier) flush against the drywall from the attic, or should I have the batted faces facing the attic space.

The vapor barrier should normally be on the "warm" side of the insulation. The idea is to stop the moisture from reaching a cold surface and forming condensation. Assuming you're installing the insulation to make the garage a warmer space in the winter, the vapor barrier face should be face down.
