How do I get grass to stop growing under a pool deck that is elevated off the ground?

If you have enough room, put down 2 layers of landscaping fabric and cover it with a layer of mulch or gravel. This will eliminate any light from reaching the grass and it will die and not regrow.
Alternatively, you can spray using a weed killer however eventually the grass will return.Join this conversation.
