Why does my Kenmore gas grill take too long to warm up?
I have a Kenmore gas grill model number 415.16237. I purchased this unit as a floor model due to the lack of store inventory. From the beginning I have not been able to get it to go any higher than 450 degrees.

It sounds like for some reason you are not getting enough gas pressure up to the burners. This could indicate a problem with either the propane tank regulator or the burner valves. I would recommend replacing the regulator first. If that does not help, then I would check the burner valves.
