My grass has yellow spots from where my dog goes to the bathroom. Any suggestions on what to do?

The easiest thing is to confine your dog to a certain space so he can do his business in a limited area. Some homeowners have fenced sideyards specifically for this purpose. Or, more simply, try a tether in a gravel area.

Alternatively, you can follow your dog outside and pour water on wherever he or she urinates to dilute it and avoid damage.

Also consider electronic or regular fence. You can create a space for your dog that's okay to use for bathroom purposes and set aside a nicer space for your yard and garden.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
