How do I remove old carpet from my cement porch and/or remove all old glue?

I have torn porch carpet on a cement porch which will not come up easily. Carpet fabric and glue are stuck to my cement porch

Use an industrial scraper to remove the carpet. For the remaining glue, there is a handy website called "paintremoval.com" - take a look at this link:

Be careful using any kind of liquid glue strippers. First figure out what kind of floor you want to put down after you remove all of the carpet then read the installations instructions for the new product. Some new flooring adhesives do not recommend using any kind of liquid glue remover/ liquid stripper prior to intstalling there products!! Your best best may be to scrap it up with a razor scrapper (5" - 8") first

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
