How can you reset the exterior wall mounted garage operator remote? Just bought house & do not know password.

You can reprogram the password by using the procedure in your Owner's Manual or in the information below even if you do not have the original PIN code.
Often the programming procedure is shown on the overhead opener or under the keypad cover as well.If the new code will not program, check for failing batteries in the keypad or one of the remotes.If there are still issues, the opener memory might be full and you may need to reset, or erase, it. But be aware that if you do reset the memory you will then need to reprogram all your other remotes in addition to the keypad.
