Have a Craftsman garage door opener and had to buy 2 new remotes. When I program one it cancels out other?
The receiver: model # 139.53975SRT1, remotes are 139.53879. There were no dual packs and we need 2 remotes to work.

You have incompatible remotes for your system. Since the system is designed to synchronize with a coded signal it is still syncing with the first one you program but it is not able to roll to the next code as the remotes would with their correct opener.
For your model opener you should be using the 139.53681 remotes or the 139.53680 compact/keychain remotes.Join this conversation.
