Is it all right to cement roll roofing directly onto the roof deck?
Is it all right to cement roll roofing directly onto the roof deck, and how can I tell if that's the way my roof was done?

Roll roofing should never be adhered directly to the roof decking with cement. This may cause the roll roofing to split when the deck moves. If you already have a roll roof in place, you won't be able to tell how the roof was secured unless there has been a failure.
